Husky Moving is a family-owned business founded by Teo and Tirza Lara, a husband-and-wife team driven by passion, perseverance, and a deep commitment to doing things right. With over 8 years of hands-on experience in the moving industry and more than 1,500 successful moves completed across the U.S., we've built Husky Moving from the ground up—starting with a single truck and a shared dream.

That’s why we approach every move with professionalism, care, and a human touch. We understand how stressful relocating can be, and we’ve made it our mission to ease that burden with friendly, respectful, and well-trained crews who treat every home like their own.

Teo Lara, Owner and General Manager of Husky Moving, brings over 8 years of experience to the field. Originally from Venezuela, he earned a law degree before relocating to the U.S. due to political hardship. Starting from the bottom in the moving industry, Teo worked his way up, gaining insight into what separates great professional movers in Atlanta from the rest. His experiences revealed how often customers were mistreated or misled, motivating him to build a better, more reliable option. That vision became Husky Moving—a moving company in Tucker, where every job is handled with integrity. Today, Teo leads by example, combining expert service with a hands-on approach that keeps customers coming back. Outside of work, he’s passionate about soccer and politics but remains most dedicated to growing a team that people can trust.
